Congratulations to David Jansen on an exceptional run out of Alice Springs, delivering an extraordinary 32 claims for 29 records, with a further 7 continental records currently pending.

Flying in the demanding and often unforgiving conditions of central Australia is no small feat. Achieving this volume of record claims speaks not only to superb piloting, but also to careful preparation, strong teamwork, and the ability to consistently extract the best from the day’s conditions.

This outstanding achievement was very much a shared effort, flown with multiple co-pilots: Grant Anderson, Josiah Murphy, and Max Waddell. Their combined experience and collaboration clearly paid dividends, contributing to a remarkable series of performances.

We’ll be watching with interest as the remaining continental record claims progress. For now, this is a phenomenal result and a great showcase of what’s possible with skill, teamwork, and the right conditions.
