Gliding Australia (GAus) is launching its Digital Wallet in January 2025! This replaces traditional membership cards with a modern, secure, and user-friendly digital solution that evolves with your membership status.
The membership card will look like this.
The QR code can be scanned and the information verified. This is standard functionality for most Digital Wallets for security. This will be useful at competitions to prove your credentials and membership.
Selecting the 3 dots at the top right will show you the membership card details.
Digital Wallets provide a cost-effective solution compared to paper versions. The Digital Wallet is dynamic and ever-changing. Unlike traditional cards that can become outdated within days of printing, the digital wallet collects information directly from your JustGo membership system and automatically updates it on the card in the user’s wallet. This ensures that there is no outdated information.
How do I get my GAus digital membership card?
When you purchase a GAus membership, an email will be sent to you with a personalised link to download your membership card.
Current members will get an email in early Jan 2025 for their existing membership.
What if I don’t have a digital wallet installed on my phone?
Digital Wallets often come preinstalled with new phones, or you can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play.

It is not necessary to set up the payment functionality within the wallet to use the GAus digital wallet.
Why have I got a different card layout to another person in my club?
There are 3 different types of GAus digital membership cards depending on which type of membership you purchase. These are Flying, Tow Pilots and Non-Flying. Each will look slightly different and have relevant information for that type of membership.
What personal data does the digital membership card contain?
The card displays your name, membership details, some credentials, club information and your email address.
It does not contain your physical address, Date of Birth or phone number.
GAus has decided not to show your photo on the front page of the digital wallet as many are the original ones from your printed licences
My digital membership card has disappeared off my phone?
The digital membership card will disappear when your membership expires.
What credentials does the digital membership card show?
Unfortunately, there is not enough space to show the 100+ credentials that are used.
For a flying membership the card focuses on credentials you need to show on the flightline.
A credential is not showing on my digital membership card, what do I do?
This means the credential is not active in JustGo. Please upload the credential into JustGo and the card should update within 24 hours.
What club information does the card show?
The card shows the clubs you are linked to in JustGo and the roles you have for your primary club e.g. CFI
My club information is wrong on the card.
You can use the club section in your profile to change these details.
If you are no longer in your club role, someone with club administrator access can update the club office holders within JustGo or contact the office at returns@glidingaustralia.org
I don’t like my photo on the second page. How do I change it?
This photo is stored in JustGo. To change it, On the My Profile page, click on the camera icon next to the photo. The email address and informal name information can be changed in the JustGo Profile and Member Details section.
