The Marketing and Development groups task is to develop strategies and activities to promote gliding and to assist clubs in their own marketing and development activities.

The group consists of a Chair, GFA Executive and Board and representatives from each region and a number of specialists.

Over the next few years Australia will host a number of international competitions and this represents an opportunity to leverage off these exciting events to promote gliding to a wider audience and this in turn will provide opportunities for clubs to benefit from this. This will of course entail some changes at club level to ensure the product you are selling is the product the market wants, what was good enough 30-40 years is not necessarily good enough in the modern world.
