All Children/Young People have the right to feel safe and protected from all forms of abuse, harm, and neglect. Children/Young People have the right to take part in sport in a safe, positive, and enjoyable environment. Gliding Australia is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of Children/Young People in Gliding by providing a safe and inclusive environment and ensuring that everyone involved in Gliding is aware of their rights and responsibilities in relation to Children/Young People.
If you have reason to believe that a Child/Young Person is at immediate risk of harm, you must follow the procedures set out in Annexure A: Responding to Child Abuse Allegations and report to the appropriate law enforcement and/or child protection agency.
